APTIM Mechanical Planner (Nuclear) in Bridgman, Michigan

Job Overview:

Mechanical Planner needed at Nuclear Power Plant.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Organize planned work orders.

  • Create and assemble the planned job package.

  • Publish weekly scheduling of work orders on shared drive within client operating system. (To be determined by Client).

  • Review the actual labor expended versus estimated labor and material used for completed jobs, with maintenance / project craft supervision.

  • Attend weekly planning meetings with customer/ client responsible. Be prepared to discuss only future work to be planned and road blocks from past weeks backlog.

  • Help develop detailed project schedules.

  • Assist Maintenance managers in keeping schedules current.

  • Revise schedules as needed when objectives or priorities change.

  • Formulate detailed plans for project completion Integrating multiple plans and schedules for all craft personnel into a Master Schedule.

  • Track significant information, progress and results.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Planner experience at Nuclear site required.

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Projects scheduling software and be able to create and maintain accurate schedules from planned work.

  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
