APTIM Service Coordinator in Findlay, Ohio

Job Overview:

LFG Specialties LLC, an APTIM company, located in Findlay, Ohio, is growing and in need of a qualified Service Coordinator to join our team. We are a leading original equipment manufacturer of landfill gas extraction, compression, combustion (i.e. flares), and leachate remediation equipment utilized in the solid waste industry

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for coordination between the shop, service management, and the technicians including: tools, drawings and parts are ready for each job.

  • Interaction on the shop floor personnel in determining current status of production, timing of parts, and the possibility of assisting the build as determined by the shop supervisor(s).

  • Strong communication will be needed with the service technicians before mobbing to site to make sure all low value parts are accounted for, during the projects to help overcome challenges, and after the project to for restocking their trucks.

  • Organizes and coordinates projects' documentation (drawings, reports, safety paperwork, calibrations, etc.) in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.

  • Drawing/design modification suggestions to be presented and approved by the Project Manager.

  • Travel to site will be expected on occasion.

  • Represent the company to client and maintains client relationship.

  • Ensure effective communications.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Successful candidate will possess experience in both industrial (shop) environment and engineering (office) settings.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

  • Strong candidate will anticipate issues and offer solutions to work priorities to meet internal and external customers' needs

  • Working knowledge of PLC programing (preferred: GE and Allen Bradley) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

  • Candidate must have a firm grasp of engineering principles.

  • AutoCad experience preferred.

  • Some travel and field troubleshooting required.
