APTIM Technician in Houston, Texas

Job Overview:

We currently have an opening for an experience Service Technician position. The Service Technician engages in repair and startup of various landfill gas management equipment. Work will often be remote. Weekly travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Travel to and from client sites, typically 2-5 days each week.

  • Assess and repair mechanical and electrical systems for efficient operation

  • Perform process related troubleshooting and calibrating instrumentation

  • Perform corrosion protection activities (cleaning and painting) as needed

  • Maintain detailed records of field activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • Experience with diagnostics and repair

  • Ability to assess and repair mechanical and electrical systems

  • Applicant must possess a valid Drivers' License and clean driving record.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.

  • Must be able to access confined operational spaces.

  • Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safe practices.

  • Must have experience with installation, repair and maintenance of gas systems, specifically with controls, pumps, gas blowers, valves, and background with industrial facilities.
