APTIM UXO Tech III in Quantico, Virginia
To provide support to new and existing work within the business line.
Must be able to perform all responsibilities of a UXO Technician 1 and 2.
Supervise and perform the on-site demilitarization of MEC and handling of demolition materials and be able to prepare and explosive storage plan.
Responsible for preparation and submittal of daily reports and conducting daily site safety briefings.
Supervise UXO Team and related UXO operations. Inspect and certify and/or verify Material Potentially Presenting Explosive Hazard (MPPEH) for the presence of explosive safety hazards.
Must be a graduate of a military or other formal UXO training course of instruction or EOD Assistant courses by a certified Department of Defense training facility. Must meet the UXO Technician 3 requirements as promulgated by DDESB TP-18. Must be familiar with and have ability to carry out all job performance requirements in accordance with operational procedures. Typically will have more than 10 years UXO experience, including 5 years in a supervisory position.
*This is a nationwide position. Work location will be determined at the time of hire dependent on company needs.
